UK ambassador to Argentina, Mark Kent, takes office next July

Mark Andrew Geoffrey Kent, currently ambassador in Thailand has been appointed British ambassador in Argentina, in succession of Dr. John Freeman, who will be transferring to another diplomatic service appointment. Mr. Kent is expected to take his new job during July this year. Read full article

    I wonder how soon before he will be “summoned” to account for the fact that the Falklands don't want to be part of Argentina?

    Couldn't be worse than Obama's ambassador to Argentina.

    He had never been to Argentina and couldn't find it on the map. Somebody had to tell him that Argentina wasn't part of Macedonia.
