The Odebrecht group of companies, whose top officials have been sentenced to prison for involvement in the corruption scheme of Brazil's largest company Petrobras, has come under strong pressure from its creditors to use the crown jewel, the petrochemical company Braskem as collateral to avoid filing for bankruptcy.     This incestual relationship they had is costing the country dearly

    I cannot see why anybody would want any part of this 'conglomerate' given the reach and severity of the corruption within all parts.

    Let it fail and be brought by other companies in the usual way of things.

    Their involvement in more than twenty or so countries and consequently their expertise in corruption will obviously be a Great Asset to any “Could-Be” Buyer.
