    Mercopress do not know anything about Brazil! The impeachment has no chance of happening. And the right-wing opposition is more corrupt than the devil.

    Moreover, the Supreme Court will take longer to judge a case against the president that the time left in office.

    So the opposition bet on two crises:

    1) Lula hunt through the elitist judiciary so that he can not be a candidate in 2018. Political crisis.

    2) Perpetuate the economic recession that the Workers Party lost popularity and can not elect Dilma's successor. Economic crisis.

    However the left parties has many pluses.

    “No one has the right to ask for the resignation of a legitimately elected president,”

    EVERY SINGLE CITIZEN has the right to ask for the resignation of any politician. They serve at the PEOPLE'S pleasure not at their own.

    The impunity that Brazilian politicians operate under is astounding. Just because you are legitimately elected doesn't mean you can't then act in a way that is incompatible with your office.

    Also I think it is disgusting that a President voices an opinion on a current police investigation and court cases. Separation of powers and statesmanship are sorely absent from Brazil.

    The is woman is a fecking idiot. Thank God I don't live in a republic with idiot politicians like this.

    In spite of proving herself as inactive, inefficient & incompetent; plus:
    - with her popularity tending to zero,
    - being responsible for the economic disaster and
    - the political leaders against her;
    she either has a lot of guts or is totally shameless in wanting to continue as the president for two more years.

    DumbAss Dilma will have to be dragged kicking and screaming out of office, she will never resign unless there is a gun to her head.

    In fact she should be treated like her 'cell' treated the American Officer and shot him in front of his wife and children, only in her case it should be a bullet in the back of her head on the steps of the whatever government building is suitable.

    It's quite fine if she insists on remaining as a president for 2 more years; PROVIDED she proves her capacity as the president, to improve the Quality of Life of the Brazilian population. Unfortunately; she proved herself as a Total & a Miserable Failure to do so for the past 6-or-so years and she is highly unlikely to make any miracle during the remaining two more years.
