I think Malcorra is finally showing the maturity that many on here claimed has been missing for so many years. The negotiations will not be easy and the EU interest groups can't claim the fact that Mercosur countries can produce items, particularly agricultural items, as a reason for stopping their inclusion.
Apr 18th, 2016 - 11:08 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The EU by its sheer size can produce items and create markets cheaper than Mercosur can for many things and I don't see their interest groups saying that is unfair.
A deal will happen. It won't be perfect but then no trade deal is. However it will eventually benefit both sides.
