Until they get all of that fixed they can not and will not have a recovery.
I don't think Singer paid Macri a cent. Any evidence? The bond sale was strongly over subscribed indicating a positive outlook for the economic development of Arg via increased international investment. This would improve the lives of the citizenry.

Doesn't economic policy matter anymore? What about Macri's economic policies designed to improve the lives of the citizenry? How does one measure the right wingedness of such economic policy and where is Macri on that? Is paying legal obligations right wing?
p.s. If requiring protestors to get court permission before blocking highways and access to airports (like in most civilized nations) is right wing, then count me in as a right winger.
p.p.s. Aren't massive, crippling restrictions on imports right wing? Wouldn't eliminating them be the opposite?
p.p.p.s Is establishing nepotism ala Campora not right wing?

Good opinion article in Clarin today, though the choripaneros are convinced that Clarin slavishly supports anything that Macri says or does. Essentially the theme is this: the end of the default is the beginning of a “financial bubble” that the Macri government is promoting, with dubious promises of foreign investment and other manna from heaven. Those feel-good speeches are for consumption by those foreigners who don't know better. That with this end to the default the government has no solution for the truly greater problems of an economy in deep recession, rocketing levels of unemployment, and rapidly increasing prices. That investment is stymied while lending rates here are about 38 percent annually. That this new government shows no coherent fiscal and monetary plan. That we are looking at 5 percent inflation just for the month of April. That the government is (hopelessly but desperately) counting on Argentines going to the dollars to the tune of US$6 billion that they have in their mattresses, which Argentines everywhere know very well are better off staying in those mattresses.

It is a fee but the difference, at least in the US is with a Visa, they do a background check.

A self adhesive stuck to the inside of your passport. Now you have have to pay online and print out a full page for the proof/receipt. It was a pain in the ass when they started it because the US airlines was clueless of what it looked like and if you did not have it, you could not board the jet in the USA.
