Former President Lula da Silva attacked on Monday the gang of lawmakers who have implanted an agenda of chaos in Brazil by pushing to impeach and remove incumbent head of state Dilma Rousseff. Lula participated in Sao Paulo in a seminar with representatives of leftist parties, including Italy's former Prime Minister Massimo D'Alema. Read full article

Apr 26th, 2016 - 09:22 am - Link - Report abuse 0I think the definition of a democracy might be that the majority tends to win and the minority loses and accepts the will of the majority...
Apr 26th, 2016 - 10:17 am - Link - Report abuse 0In theory anyway...
resist it in the streets
Apr 26th, 2016 - 10:25 am - Link - Report abuse 0Spoken like the unreformed anti-democratic leftist terrorist who has been playing president
Sounds like Lula is calling for a coup against the true democratic will of the people.
Apr 26th, 2016 - 10:48 am - Link - Report abuse 0He should be arrested for that alone.
A fight between the Ruling Party and the Opposition may become a Non-Stop Serial & a Nightmare - with a Bitter-Ending.

#2: Lula & Dilma may not be friends but both need each other.
Dilma needs Lula's Support to remain in power - one way or the other.
Lula needs Dilma in power to escape from the accusations and the investigations.

Apr 26th, 2016 - 12:27 pm - Link - Report abuse 0They need civil unrest, put the peasant slum dwellers down once and for good.
The world is sick of leftist policies. Its going to get ugly all over.
If Lula and his red army hit the streets, they'll meet the Military - the top brass of the armed forces are still taking the back seat, but have warned that they will not permit any violence in the streets. The Senate's decision, whether to impeach or not, is final, and Lula and his gang had better prepare for their worst nightmare - the Bolivarian dream going up in smoke.

Apr 26th, 2016 - 02:53 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Lula has a lot to lose - he's like a cornered rat.
Apr 26th, 2016 - 04:20 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Too bad for him that Venzla is no longer a comfortable safe haven.
CFK is gone, Macri won't greet him with open arms.
It's likely beneath Lula to accept Morales' hospitality in Bolivia.
The LullaRat would probably flee to Cuba.....it's probably where his ill-gotten gains are stashed.
Apr 26th, 2016 - 04:51 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Did anyone think it would be any different?
Apr 26th, 2016 - 05:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0No, I didn't think so.
I hope the military do take charge and shoot the likes of DumbAss and Lula, just to keep the others in line.
Mow them down in the streets and let the dogs eat them.

We continue fighting. We have gained ground among the people, but our mistakes have caused the corrupt politicians of the right to gain much political space.

The important thing now is lick our wounds!
And we prepare for the next war.

If you do not understand Russian, this is a great opportunity.
Russia is as 3rd world as Brazil.
Apr 27th, 2016 - 01:18 am - Link - Report abuse 0They're due for another Revolution too.
The United States is not the first world. Never went.
Apr 27th, 2016 - 08:34 am - Link - Report abuse 0This year (2016) the economic influence of this country is suffering a decline unprecedented in Brazil and South America. Brazil's trading partners in order of magnitude:
1) China
2) Germany
3) Argentina
4) Russia
5) United States
Before 2020 the United States has disappeared from the list of top ten.
North-American decline is much faster than I expected.
Its because Brazil has nothing to offer the USA numbnuts.
Apr 27th, 2016 - 09:35 am - Link - Report abuse 0Those are all countries that need to import foodstuffs.
We don't
The loss of US importance is not the fact that Brazil lost the few sales we make to them. Since Brazil has never sold anything to the United States, except airplanes, orange juice and coffee (with the latter two products undergo customs restrictions and on fees to enter on the US market).
Apr 27th, 2016 - 12:03 pm - Link - Report abuse 0So much so that for many years the United States has had billionaire trade surplus with Brazil.
What happened? Brazil does not see more the United States as a strategic partner, declined arms purchases, decreased the purchase of oil and fuel and mainly greatly diminished the level of cooperation between enterprises of both countries.
It's not food!

Apr 27th, 2016 - 05:42 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Now that you realize that your hero the LullaRat is f*cked, you try to appease the opposition by quoting Lullinha paz e amor....what a pathetic shitty loser you are. You have no convictions , you sway from one side to the other like a big turd being flushed down the toilet.
@24 Brasshole
Again, you prove that you are just a dirty liar...in the recent past, many times you bragged about your trips to the US, and it was obvious you were lying, trying to build yourself up to represent something you'll never be...an educated, successful professional....you are and always will be just a piece of crap.
If you've never been to the US - as you now admit - what authority do you have to say it's not 1st world ? you stupid nitwit...
As to your #26 , may I suggest you stop spouting crap and study a bit more....there was a time - before the damned PT and the LullaRat got into power - that Brazil exported quite a variety of products to the US, and the US was Brazil's main trading partner.....but the LullaRat in all his glory, and limited wisdom, signed trade agrements with a few insignificant countries in Africa and Latin America, in detriment of the US....well, just look where that got us....
You make me puke you stupid 'petista'.
Brazil is insignificant for US exports or imports. You don't have anything we want and the stuff we sell you is decreasing due to your massive depression.
Apr 27th, 2016 - 07:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Nobody cares about a 3rd world country.
Whether you live or die or disappear of the face of the earth wouldn't change one thing in the USA.
Not one meaningful thing.

Your sense of entitlement is laughable.
Don't ever expect a reply from the idiotic Brasshole....his allegations are pure, unadulterated bs...
