Brazil's interim government said on Friday it has the political support for tough measures needed to return the economy to growth and can secure a permanent mandate once populist President Dilma Rousseff's impeachment trial is over. I take it the 'tough measures' relate to no more public money being thieved by the politicians?

The Temer administration is totally illegitimate. And its only hope of survival to kill the lava jato investigations - which it is trying to do.
