Swiss wealth managers said Friday they would expect an influx of funds from skittish international investors if British voters choose to leave the European Union in a June 23 referendum. Participants in a seminar organized by the Swiss Private Bankers Association (SPBA) in Geneva voiced concern about what the implications would be if a Brexit is voted through in a referendum on June 23. Amazing a European country that is a non-EU member with its own currency would be seen as a safe haven.....

And yet the UK has a bleak future if it leaves the EU.....

    Funny that!

As opposed to a bleaker future if it remains subservient to the EU.

I have to deal with the international money markets three times a year and have used a British company with branches all over the world.

My advisor is based in the UK and cannot see anything other than opportunities for the market when the UK leaves the EU.

You can witness that by the several downturns in the pound, followed a few days late by upturn back to where it was. I wonder who is buying on the lows and selling on the tops?

    Step forward the international traders.

There will always be big private investors who 'play safe' and then lose money. Their call, I just wish they would STFU when the hedge is against them.

    VOTE LEAVE!

You know it makes sense (except to a certain person).

It doesn't make sense to me either...

You are not affected by Europe...you do not live here...
Your pension would hardly be affected whether in or out..
You are trying to get citizenship in Uruguay...
EU immigration does not affect you...
You should not be voting on matters that don't affect you...
Kindly stop trying to influence folk on matters that should be none of your business...

@4 He couldn't influence anyone with his crazy-arsed ranting. We are witnessing a rapid mental deterioration. I hope the mental healthcare is good in Uruguay.

    @ 4 Broken Voice

Oh dear, not been understanding my situation at all have we?

    @ 5 'Saint' ElaineB

Oh dear, bringing yourself down to a very low standard.

I can understand why you know so much about mental health problems because you are unable to stand anybody having a contra-version to your juvenile 'opinions' based on Camorons lies and idiotic rants against leave and YOU follow him and rant your head off.

Remain is now 19% ahead of the scared bunch, but as I say it's the voting by the citizens that counts. :o)

VOTE LEAVE and live your own life and make your own decisions for once.

Pathetic creatures, the pair of you.

@6 Back to name calling? O.K. Creepy Chris the Pervert, I'll play along.

“you are unable to stand anybody having a contra-version …” You just described YOURSELF.

Why do you think threats and abuse would convince anyone one way or another? Is that how it works for you? Do you bully people into agreeing with you? It will not work with me. You will never know how I vote. Never.

Where does all that frustration and hatred come from, Creepy Chris the Pervert? Is life not quite how you imagined it would be in Uruguay? Why are you always talking about being scared? Projecting again?

    @ 7 ElaineB

Where is their a name call, unless you think 'Saint' is it?

Perhaps Creepy Chris the Pervert is not a name calling.

BTW “Pathetic creatures, the pair of you” is an accurate description IN MY OPION. I think you have said that phrase a few hundred times on here.

@8 Impotent old fool. Go and bully your wife until she agrees with you. Then you can feel a bit better about yourself.

I am neither scared nor pathetic...
I voted to continue in the greater union with England over independence because I believed it to be better for Scotland...
That decision was made with the knowledge that a certain amount of control and sovereignty would rest with the UK over Scotland...
I will now vote for the greater union with Europe for the same reason and the same realisation that a degree of control and sovereignty will be lost...
Despite all the doom and gloom...the EU has not detrimentally affected me so far...the laws and rules were never in my hands anyway...they always rested in the hands of bureaucrats and faceless people...that is not going to change...just their location....
I decided weeks ago how I was going to vote...the scaremongering is irrelevant...
There just aren't enough good reasons to leave...
I don't see how that is pathetic...
What is pathetic is.... someone that doesn't live in the UK..is not affected by the EU...having a vote on matters that will affect me....
