This is so funny, Swire expecting Ecuador to behave in a sensible manner when they have that stupid twat as president.

“Dealing in drugs is not illegal” he claims, but there again his dad was the nations biggest drug dealer who died in a US jail. You can easily see why he is bat-shit mad and determined to allow Assange to continue his 'crusade' in the broom cupboard if only to upset the UK and the US.

I guess that is the price a narcissist pays - five years confined by his own stubbornness. If he is not guilty one has to wonder why he refuses to let justice take its' course. He was far more at peril of being extradited to the U.S. from the U.K. than he ever will be from Sweden. (Though I think this is a red herring anyway)

It is a P.R. exercise gone terribly wrong for Assange and Ecuador. Tough for both of them.

Scipi, what of Nauru and Manus.

Plantation elites and the press are unfairly picking on the Ecuadorian governmental.

Here's to your next FIVE years in the pokey, Assange. Don't forget your first “appointment” IF you leave. A small matter of breaching bail conditions. For 4 years and counting.

Long failed miserably on his BBC interview when queried on comparative issues in his own beloved Ecuador. Ecuador is a socialist utopia under constant attack from plantation elites and a capitalist press.

How does an Anglo-French person born in France and educated in the UK become the Foreign Minister of Ecuador? Correa must be getting really desperate!
