Uruguayan government insists in transferring Mercosur presidency to Venezuela
Uruguay ratified on Thursday its willingness to transfer the Mercosur presidency to Venezuela despite objections from the other members, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. In a brief statement in its official site, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Uruguay, currently holding the Mercosur pro tempore chair “reiterates its position to proceed to transfer the presidency, in abidance with what is established by the current Mercosur rules”. 3) When I renew my Cedula (ID card to you) early in the new year I have been advised that I will be asked if I (and my wife) want an Uruguayan Passport;
4) We have invested a considerable amount of money in the government bank.
Perhaps you are confused with all the other countries in SA who cannot stand FACTUAL posts, thankfully Uruguay has never been one, even under the rule of the murdering commie bastards known throughout the country as The Broad Fraud.

I wasted 5 minutes of my life on the MP search engine for 2010 and cannot find any reference to your tag. So, I could have made a search error (not likely), you have changed your tag (?), you are mistaken (?) or you are LYING.

I think that as you seem to recall details of my past postings you MUST be aware that I have condemned the present Pope for his past support of the Argentine false claim to sovereignty of the Falkland Islands.

As you believe in an existence after death you must also take hell with the 'package' of RCC bollocks. It's been years since I last read Dante's masterpiece from the 14th Century but it will be contemporary reading for you.
It's where the naughty dead RCCunts have to go to be 'punished' and punished they are in a spectacular fashion. You will be able to catch up with all the child rapists and embezzlers of the RCC coffers as well as most of the previous 'holy fathers' (such an oxymoron): you will no doubt feel at home.

The 9th circle is part of the narrative in a poem of the pre-Reformation 14th century when the concepts of Heaven and Hell and religion were totally different from today. If you base your atheism on the contents of work of fiction written 700 years ago then so be it. Pathetic!

As usual you have not bothered to read for yourself the facts about this despicable 'religion' and the abuse of children, rape, buggery and physical violence over all the world but especially in the Americas (N&S).
BUT, of course, you have already made YOUR mind up without them. So nothing changes, does it? Try educating yourself for once.
You are without doubt an embittered feminist, certainly not up to being a real woman, and destined to grow old without any partner (male or female) or children.

This statement is, of course, nonsense. I acknowledge that, sadly, there have been far too many incidences of child abuse and other sexual assaults by priests of the RC Church but so there have been similar incidents within other Christian groups and, who knows, in other religions such as Islam and Buddism.
However, and very important for you to bear in mind, (if you have one!) is the fact that sexual misbehaviour is not confined to the clergy of the Christian faith and other religions. Sexual misbehaviour, such as incest and the abuse of children is, sadly, far more prevalent in general society throughout the world than it is in the religious world. So your prejudices should be directed at all those men and women worldwide who abuse youngsters NOT just at the RCC.
So just hang your head in shame and, if you have any decency at all, acknowledge that you are grossly misinformed.
@15 You make a good point. Why does ChrisR have such narrow prejudices. I have never heard him speak out about FGM but give him an opportunity to talk about buggering small boys and he is there shouting about the RCC, as if they are the only perpetrators of such heinous behaviour. IF ChrisR really had read up on the subject of child and women abuse he would know that.

Surely, an expatriate in most countries would be totally unacceptable for extension to residence status or, indeed, achieve naturalisation were he/she to be so openly critical of many circumstances in his/her host country as this individual is. Not only is it plain bad manners but it questions his/her loyalty to the host nation.
I have spent long periods as an expatriate in 4 Latin American countries, in the USA and in Spain and one of the first pieces of advice I was given was “when in Rome do as the Romans do”! In other words, be unobtrusive! I wonder if ChrisR is just as offensive in the person or just here in Mercopress?
