Clint Eastwood is a Hollywood legend. He's been a movie icon for decades, the star of the famed “Man With No Name” Spaghetti Westerns and Dirty Harry movies. The 86-year-old Oscar winner is also one of the highest-profile conservatives in the movie business. The trouble with a “kick ass” mentality is that it escalates and festers.
At a country level, this could lead to a nuclear war if a state dictator such as our N.Korean looney loses the plot and decides on Armageddon.
That is one of the greatest fears about Trump.

Esquire tells us that Eastwood does not agree with either candidate.
Hilary is too PC and Trump says a lot of “dumb things”.
He makes it very clear that's his dilemma.
It's a “tough one”.
Same as for every American.
However unlikeable Hillary is I think the idea of someone as thin-skinned and revengeful as Trump as the Commander in Chief makes it a no-brainer for the majority. But there is a long way to go until the election and people have short memories.

As I have said many times: the ONLY election that counts is the one the citizens vote in.
Given the circumstances for the working man and woman since 2008 I for one would be surprised if The Donald doesn't scrape in.

Clint Eastwood has made a lot of interesting films and often has thoughtful things to say about them. He was, by all accounts, a competent mayor of Carmel ( pop 3 842 ). On the subject of Federal politics though, he isn't any more articulate, or insightful, than he was four years ago.
