Venezuela claims “the triple alliance” want to storm the Mercosur presidency
Venezuela announced it will not allow Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, “the triple alliance” to storm the Mercosur pro tempore presidency, which the government of president Nicolas Maduro is fully exercising. Disclaimer & comment rulesDelcy, Delcy, Delcy. Your country is in such HUGE shambles that the democratic foundation had to be suspended and give way to “emergency” 60 day Decree/dictator powers. The government has been so ineffective that the 60 days is now going into its 7 months. If your government can't run the country without “emergency” dictatorial decree powers into perpetuity, when by decree you control the police, military, and all other assets, how can you expect to be able to run an organization of people you can't “decree” to? As long as Venezuela needs 60 day emergency decree powers extended into perpetuity BY the person granted the original 40 days, you should sit in the corner with Suriname and be quiet.

It was only the looney socialists in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay at the time that IGNORED Mercosur rules, deliberately and illegally BANNED the only country that protested Venezuela's illegal inclusion (Paraguay) that allowed it.
But now that the looney socialists have been removed, and Venezuela has been shown to be a dictatorship with no respect for human rights, democracy or the rule of law, are the more sensible people have decided to kick them out.
Maduro has looked increasingly deluded. Everything is a conspiracy against HIM. But HE has destroyed Venezuela. No one else. He only has himself to blame, and as time goes on more and more people realise it.
And one day the people will rise up in a true revolution and Maduro and his Cuban masters will probably end up swinging from lamp posts.
But the people voted Chubby in!

@2 Quite right. We don't hear to much about Venezuela in the U.K. but CNN give regular reports on the situation. It is dire.
