Aug 23rd, 2016 - 01:57 pm - Link - Report abuse 0When a democratic country's president is granted decree/dictator powers for 60 days and then extends them unconstitutionally by himself, out to 8 months, it is no longer a democracy. When a democratic country's president (now dictator) goes after his own countrymen's jobs because they have exercised their Constitutional right and freedom of choice to support or not support him, it is no longer a democracy. Venezuela has demonstrated that the country no longer has the freedoms organic to a democracy and has a government that is against the will of the people. Venezuela must NOT be allowed ANY leadership in ANY organization until the rights of the people to be free without threat or repercussion from their government are restored.
