I imagine the EU would like a quick success to discourage other countries from following Britain's example.
And weren't the Leave campaigners saying Britain should trade more with the developing world rather than the 'stagnant' EU? I'm sure they'd just love to sign a deal with Mercosur.
The Irish will still scupper any beef trade deals that Argentina want with the EU. Why should the Irish be pushed aside for the sake of Argentina?
