    This drama really will be meaningful if ALL of the Political-Thieves not only rot in jail but are also made to return all of the stolen loot.

    Instead;

    - either they go scot free
    - or they escape with just a symbolic minor punishment
    - or return a very small portion of the stolen amount
    - remain politically active [directly / indirectly]
    - and continue with their “normal” activities!

    I suspect the judge is tempted by the 'consideration' that Lula would give him if he withdraws this 'statement'.

    The political crooks are 100% capable of changing the laws and even the constitution - in their favor - just to make sure that they not only remain better protected in the future but they also can continue with their “activities” without any hindrance!

    LATEST NEWS : Guido Mantega, Lula's and Dilma's Finance Minister for 9 years, has just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar......his gross incompetence in running the economy has been surpassed by his main activity, which was “taking” money from large business's, to fund the PT's election campaigns and to line his own pocket.
    Although he was arrested and released shortly afterwards - but not before the Feds had executed a search warrant in his flat - he is in deep, deep shit. And if he should decide to squeal to save his arse once he is charged with corruption, money laundering, and a few other crimes, he will make Lula and Dilma sink even further.

    It appears that the incriminating evidence against all the crooks is already available - in plenty - for quite some time.

    So:
    - When will they all be jailed?
    - When will the stolen money be retrived?
    : Perhaps NEVER?
