“The Liar Mantega” was almost single handedly responsible for the vast majority of the economic collapse before the systematic theft by politicians really boosted it into orbit.

Perhaps, when she recovers, his wife can find a new life for herself.

He kept talking everything up with foreign investors whilst knowing full well what was going on. No surprise when existing investors fled and new ones were like a Uruguayo politician: nowhere to be found.

I do hope that he gets life in prison.

The crooked/corrupt have already taken care of themselves, by creating a legal system and a constitution to protect their own interests.

The ONLY true/effective justice - if at all exists - will be to make them return ALL the stolen money of the taxpayers.

BUT this is just IMPOSSIBLE in Brazil! So, the cooked / corrupt continue to remain shamelessly “Politically Active” [and keep earning benfits] even after being convicted & condemned!

Do not forget that this is a country where even the dead manage to vote - repeatedly! If this IS possible; NOTHING is impossible in Brazil!
