The founding Mercosur countries Friday suspended Venezuela from full membership of the free-trade bloc in view of its failure to adjust its domestic regulations to economic agreements and human rights and immigration guidelines and principles that are mandatory to all the other members. I am guessing they lie because there will be a percentage of the ignorant public that will believe them. But if they are suggesting illegality, they might also consider the questionable way them were admitted in the first place.

Why don't all these countries do themselves a favor and just abolish Mercosur all together. What a deplorable laughing stock! Don't they have even an ounce of dignity!

I guess the same forces that let such circuses as the IMF and the UN continue to exist are the same forces that keep this Mercosur circus going. It should have been dead decades ago.
