The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has approved a US$40 million loan that will allow for bidding to begin for the Agua Negra tunnel, which will connect San Juan province in Argentina with that of Coquimbo in Chile. The tunnel is key to improving trade integration between the two countries and the rest of Mercosur through a new corridor that will connect the Atlantic and the Pacific from Porto Alegre, Brazil, west to Coquimbo, Chile. It must be nice to be able to go shopping in a less corrupt neighbouring country with a comparatively successful economy, bereft of the excesses of populist protectionism and punishing tax rates that result in many things costing twice as much in Argentina.

A positive story about needed infrastructure that will benefit Mercosur member states' trade and economies.
And ThinkVoice doesn't like it - says a lot about him.
Macri is doing a good job with getting on with the infrastructure. The Metrobus system in BA is working very well, there's this tunnel and I saw an article recently that showed how children had to wade through a river to get to school...and now Macri has built a bridge for them. It all helps.

Zaphod Beeblebrox from the vecinity of Betelgeuse tells us that...:
He saw an article recently that showed how children had to wade through a river to get to school...and now *** MACRI *** has built a bridge for them.
I say...:
That bridge has been indeed constructed at the Paraje Chafariz in the province of Misiones...
http://misionesonline.net/?vp=1
By the Provincial government of Misiones..., currently ruled by a regional political party called Frente Renovador para la Concordia Social ..., allied to the Frente para la Victoria national party...
That is, if somebody here doesn't know it.... Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner's Political Party...
Geeeee... God give me strength!
Dec 15th, 2016 - 12:47 am - Link - Report abuse 0Macri is actually using the money for major infrastructure projects on major infrastructure projects, transportation projects that benefit large numbers of people and businesses, and contribute to jobs and the economy - how about that!
And the Troll Turnip goes well out of his way to make a tenuous link between a minor civil micro-project and Evita K's supposed benevolence.
Just another Turnipy Think/voice deflection.
Well done, Macri !!
Geeeeeeeeeee........

Kanye aka Troy Tempest, the Supermarionation Troll from Kanada tells us that...:
*** Macri ****** is actually using the money for major infrastructure projects on major infrastructure projects, transportation projects that benefit large numbers of people and businesses, and contribute to jobs and the economy - how about that!***”
I say...:
The major infrastructure and transportation project that benefit large numbers of people and businesses, and contributesto jobs and the economy that this article mentions..., was designed and signed on the 29th of August 2009 at the UNASUR summit in Patagonian Bariloche by President Michelle Bachelet..., President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva... and President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner - how about that!

Just another fact..., brought to you by El Think...
Just another load of hot air brought to you by Think/voice, the multi-persona Troll that does not really live in Argentina.
Dec 15th, 2016 - 05:26 am - Link - Report abuse -1EVITA K made lots of commitments and never did anything- or worse yet, funnelled off the money meant for infrastructure projects, into her own purse.
And... to finish answering Anglo Turnip Mr. Zaphod Beeblebrox from the vecinity of Betelgeuse who tells us Argies that...:

I would say that Macri's Metrobus proyect in the city of Buenos Aires was (and is) an archaic, unimaginative and unambitious one..., hit by the usual inflated budgets, nepotism and cronyism that affects all public works in Argentina since before I was born...

Only the part where you criticise CFK for anything. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Dec 16th, 2016 - 09:57 pm - Link - Report abuse -2I have..., in numerous ocasions on these pages..., criticized, the Kircher administration lack of emphasis in fighting the endemic and structural corruption that does exist in the Argentinean political, judicial and legislative system...
But don't take me word for it... You are welcome to search MercoPress's archives...
Having said the above.., I'll also repeat what I've said many times before...:
1) The Kirchner Administrations have been, socially, politically and economically the best we have had in Argengina since I can remember...
2) Mme. Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner is a brave woman who had a near impossible job and managed it quite well...
Think/Voice or whatever,
