Donald J. Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States on Friday, outlining his forceful vision of a national populism echoing the same “America first” catchphrases that swept him to victory last November. In his first address as chief executive, Trump pledged that his inauguration will mark a moment in history when “the forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.” Read full article

IF his plans are better/cheaper than Obamacare; the voters can BEGIN to believe in his capacities.

Jan 21st, 2017 - 12:55 pm - Link - Report abuse +1you have has much chance of leaving us, as Mr trump has of winning the US Presidency,
some people have no sense of humour ,
you put America first, and we will do the same with Britain.
,
So, Trump wants to take away power from the elected government and hand it to 'the people'. Let's ponder that for a moment. The people elected by the people are there in D.C. as their representatives. Is Trump intending to take the power from the elected representatives and transfer it to ……… Trump. He has already hinted that only he can fix the country. Only he can make America Great Again. Only he can be allowed power. Poor America has put a dictator in place. Fortunately enough U.S. citizens - the majority - did not vote for him and are unlikely to allow him see his plan through. Interesting times ahead.
Jan 21st, 2017 - 05:48 pm - Link - Report abuse +1Perhaps he is the only one that can do it,
Jan 21st, 2017 - 08:41 pm - Link - Report abuse +2far to hard on him,
he should be given a chance to prove himself,
if he turns out to be a good president, then elect him for another four years just like Obama
if he fails miserably then the Americans can either impeach him [if he is that bad ] or vote him out in four years time,
after all, Obama was no devil but was no angel. Either.

I am going to have fun with Americans the next 4 years!

Jan 22nd, 2017 - 02:27 pm - Link - Report abuse +1With your tunnel vision of hatred you don't seem to realise that people make fun of Trump in the same way we made fun of CFK. Even in the U.S. more people voted for Clinton than Trump so you are actually joining the majority view.
Trump: Just only one week after my coronation, I promise you my fellow Americans, the entirety of China will fall into a major slump. Factories will shut, shops close, markets will be halted, and government will cease operating. Those with wealth will flee with their money overseas, including America, doors all across that country will be plastered with red notices, and gunpowder will tinge the air. People will have no jobs and sit idle, and just drink. Children will roam the streets asking for packets of money. We will make America Great Again!
