Father of bride struck by lightning during ceremony; in 2015 “lucky man” was rescued from Falklands' waters

No one likes a dull wedding, but one father-of-the-bride's speech was a little too electrifying at his daughter's ceremony last weekend. JP Nadeau was reportedly struck by lightning mid-sentence in his apple orchard in New Brunswick, Canada. But this was not the first time Nadeau faces the challenge of death, in 2015 he was air rescued from a crippled French cruise vessel in Falklands' waters. Read full article

    What are you talking about. Have I misread this article?. The tasks of being struck by lightning was carried out by Vernet? Was he a passenger on Dr.Who's Tardis ?

    I still do not understand what you are talking about. I think your references are too obscure.

    What has Vernet got to do with........

    1) A man struck by lightning in Canada last week, and

    2) Being rescued by the RAF off the Falklands in 2015.

    Explain !

    I guess he either means Vernet carried out weddings, or he was struck by lightning, or he rescued cruise passengers using a helicopter. Maybe all three? He must have been a busy man.
