Brazilian and French authorities said on Tuesday they uncovered an international corruption scheme aimed at buying votes in awarding the 2016 Olympics. It is the latest allegation to tarnish the legacy of the Rio Games, the first Olympics in South America. Read full article

Meanwhile all the infrastructure created stands unused and rotting just like Athens. Oh for past times when sport was more amateur and sporting. Sadly we will never see that again....
