Former President Lula da Silva told a Brazilian court on Wednesday that the corruption charges against him stem from a witch hunt and questioned the impartiality of the judge. ”“this is a witch hunt”, says the biggest crook Brazil has ever known....and probably one of the biggest the WORLD has ever known, too......received hundreds of millions in bribes and still has the nerve to deny it.....but typical of the ignorant SOB that he is....was nice to see him frothing at the mouth when told to shut up (politely) by Moro...hope the 'toad' rots in jail.

    REF: “The ex-president is among the most senior politicians caught up in the probe, which is the largest in Brazil's history”:

    Accused [but not YET convicted] & still doing quite well outside a jailhouse; while his obedient servants are behind bars.

    seems the 2nd case against Lula, in which he was questioned two days ago by Moro, will take a bit longer to produce a sentence....Odebrecht has finally handed the prosecutors seven (7) hard discs, from their secret server in Sweden, containing over 1,700,000 registers of confidential information from their bribe department....may take a bit longer, but when deciphered and handed back to Moro, it will most likely bury the toad , once and for all.

    @JB:

    Absolutely TRUE [although it may take long - TOO LONG]! Besides; a few things will ALWAYS remain the SAME in Brazil:

    “Lula, in which he was questioned two days ago by Moro”
    More from the kangaroo court, in civilized countries such an encroachment by a sitting judge would not be permitted, as it is considered unduly oppressive.

    @TH:

    Absolutely RIGHT - only in the CIVILIZED countries!

    NOT in the countries which are:
    - ruled BY the crooks
    - and where the laws CLEARLY favor the crooks [how else does one explain nearly 2'000 corrupts (past & present) enjoying freedom (those less than 1%, who are in jail; PREFER to remain behind the bars to earn extra “income”); who will NEVER return their illicit gains, will continue to remain politically active AND will continue “milking” the country!]
