Unfortunately fear that one must agree with the comments made both by Islander1 and Togi as to Trump looking the other way on this issue. No doubt with a bout of bluster and tweets to satisfy his conscious but nothing that will assist to avoid situations like the Las Vegas event happeing again. Perhaps even in the near future.

Just the day before they mowed down 5 somewhere else and someone made the jarring observation that 20 years ago that mass shooting of 5 would have been page one all over that country. Today didn't even get a footnote.
