UK's post-Brexit plans on food imports quotas criticized by Australia and New Zealand
Australia has criticized UK's post-Brexit trade plans to split quotas of food imports from around the world. EU rules allow for a certain amount of goods to be brought in from countries outside of the Union without charging full tariffs, but after Brexit, the UK and EU want to split these quotas, based on where the goods are mostly consumed.

Yellow fever cases re-emerge in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo
Between July and mid-October 2017, a total of 71 suspected yellow fever cases were reported in São Paulo State, Brazil. Of these, two were confirmed, six are under investigation, and 63 were ruled out.

Brazilian president Temer, a political and medical survivor
Brazilian President Michel Temer is recovering after undergoing a successful angioplasty in three coronary arteries. The Sao Paulo hospital that treated Temer said on Saturday that two stents were implanted during the procedure late Friday. The three arteries had 90-percent obstructions.

Russian naval specialists arrive in Ushuaia to help with missing submarine search
An Antonov-124 Ruslan airlifter has flown a team of Russian naval specialists to Argentina where they will join the efforts to rescue the distressed submarine, ARA San Juan missing since November 15. Argentine channel Todo Noticias aired the footage of the jet’s landing.

Macri promises the truth about what happened with the missing submarine
President Mauricio Macri on Friday ordered an inquiry to ‘know the truth’ about what happened to Argentina's missing submarine, ARA San Juan, which disappeared with the loss of its 44 crew. The 34-year-old submarine had gone through a refit and was ‘in perfect condition,’ Macri told reporters at the Argentine navy headquarters.
