U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday the U.S. is not backing down on its decision to impose 25% tariffs on steel imports and 10% tariffs on imported aluminum products. Before a White House meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump suggested Mexico and Canada could be exempted from the planned tariffs if a new and “fair” North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is reached. I suspect this is one thing that Trump is probably good at. In negotiations, belly punch first, then do a deal. We will see..

Let's hope not, since we're not Americans. And just think how absurd it is to say that every country in the world is ripping off the US - Britain, Greenland, Chile, Sierra Leone, Iraq? He's the leader of the single richest, most powerful country in the world, pretending that they're somehow a victim is decidedly unedifying.

Also, it's odd that he's attacking US allies with these tariffs rather than big bad China.

Maybe he can fix the trade imbalance with Chine by selling them heroin, and make up some of the cost of the Afghan war at the same time...

    Mr. DemonTree...

    You say..:
“Maybe Trump can fix the trade imbalance with China by selling them heroin, and make up some of the cost of the Afghan war at the same time...”

    I say...:
You ARE aware that the very same thing has been successfully done before..., don't ya laddie...???

The name wasn't President Trump back then..., but Queen Victoria...
The stuff wasn't heroine back then... but Opium...

Ye of little faith. Any resemblance to historical events is purely coincidental. ;)

Doesn't matter what I think, I don't have to negotiate with him. He's trying to screw over Britain as much as every other country, so we'd both better hope our own leaders can see right through him and give as good as they get.
