Yes - for those of us resident in the UK and who are frequent travellers to Latin America the choices for direct flights are few - Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina and Chile(BA) together with Colombia(Avianca). With the exception of Costa Rica, Central America and Panama are ignored together with Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay.

Connecting flights via Madrid, Miami and Houston are available but usually mean overnighting.
