England interested in hosting the football World Cup in 2030

The UK Government is open to discussions on a possible bid to host the football World Cup in 2030, Downing Street has said. Prime Minister Theresa May’s official spokesman said ministers would be “happy” to talk with football authorities about any proposal they might want to put forward to FIFA. Read full article

    Probably many countries would be interested in hosting the WC at some point, but that's very different to considering putting a bid in for a particular year. I'm sure Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay are interested in knowing who their rivals might be.
