The leaders of the United States and Canada expressed optimism on Wednesday that they could reach new NAFTA deal by a Friday deadline as negotiators prepared to talk through the night, although Canada warned that a number of tricky issues remained. Read full article

said Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland at a press conference Friday.
The governments of Canada and Mexico must also ratify the agreement. If they don't, there's no deal.

Changes between old NAFTA and new NAFTA are purely cosmetic but give Trump a chance to tweet about how the “worst trade deal ever” got replaced by the “best trade deal ever” and his delusional 40% groupies will believe him.
