    Heh: “Don't look at the Russians behind the curtain. Quick, over there! China is the real villain.”

    But seriously, it shows the fallacy of Trump's thinking. Bad for China does not equal good for America, it's easy to hurt yourself as much as your enemy if you are not careful.

    Well, the USA is enjoying the lowest unemployment rate since 1967, the lowest ever unemployment recorded for Blacks, Hispanics and Asians. Meanwhile the stock market has been at record highs.

    The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. (Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove.)

    He seems to be in a very good position with his voter base. Any Latin America country would be ecstatic to enjoy similar numbers.

    Soooo... why did the rising stock market and falling unemployment rate under Obama mean a terrible economy, but when Trump takes over it's suddenly wonderful?

    And if he's so popular, why does he need to invent villains to wave around and distract people with?

    Actually I thought Bill Clinton did a great job running the US economy. Bush ran it into the ground and left the USA in serious trouble just before Obama's election. I have nothing against Obama, but he did nothing that remarkable either. Since Trump has taken over the economy there is booming.

    Personally I don't care the man speaks nonsense. With all due respect.

    @Chicureo
    The Brazilian economy boomed under Lula, the Argentine one under Nestor. You gonna forgive them for everything they did, too?

    Let me make it very clear, Nestor inherited a presidency that no one wanted with an economy practically bankrupt. Unfortunately the man and his bride ran the country nearly back into the gutter. Lula began brilliantly and rode a wave of economic growth that made its economy admired throughout the world. Unfortunately, practically all the political parties plundered Petrobras and embraced corruption.

    The real losers are the poor.
