Argentine industrial activity contracts 4.1% in August year-to-year

Industrial activity in Argentina dropped 4.1% in August compared to a year ago, completing a 0.8% contraction so far this year, according to a survey by the country's Industrial Union, UIA. However compared to last July industrial production was up 0.7%. Read full article

    These are the results of deliberate measures that have created an economy of speculation that has allowed foreign capital to come in, make fat and quick profits on generous interest rates paid by Argentina, and then take off. That is why Mauricio Macri has nothing to show for the foreign debt he contracted; it's all gone in the financial gambling game.

    Of course, the government knows it's done. As a result, the looting will go in the increase as time goes by. Macri's passport should be confiscated from now on.
