Argentine FPV legislators filed a motion to impeach Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie for failing to fulfill his duties as a public official when he called for the Falkland Islanders to be respected and to generate a bond with them “as two peoples” who live in the South Atlantic. Read full article

Argentina argues, the current inhabitants are a “transplanted population”, of British character and nationality, not a distinct “people” as required by external self-determination doctrine. Hm.

Tolerant Argentines are wonderful neighbors as long as you're not forced to live nearby. They tend to be notorious kleptomaniacs...

    Never fear, islanders!

Here comes Chicureo, arse kissing the islanders and bad mouthing Argentines by endorsing them what some prejudiced people say of Chileans. It probably makes him feel closer to superior beings and alleviate his inferiority complex for being a Latino.

Don't worry Enrique, we Islanders are used to being fancifully called nonexistant ghosts by many fascist minded Argentines- luckily there are some civilised ones about, and though who accept we do exist and do have democratic rights.

So Sr Carmona's view is that Falkland Islanders should not be respected ?? No wonder no-one take the likes of him very seriously. These sorts of views usually emerge from the dark shades of nationalist facism.

Before you abandoned Argentina to live in Canada, did you not blindly support your corrupt and kleptomaniac government's attempt to forcefully invade a peaceful group of islands? Didn't you cheer on the despicable criminal act?
Didn't you then shite and p*ss in your trousers when a determined woman kicked your miserable excuse of a military arse? Your military disgraced themselves as miserable cowards when they dishonorably made fools of Argentina.
And yes, you're still p*ssed because your little Latin insignificant neighbor did everything they could to help the UK defeat your sorry arse? Why did we do that?
    Still feeling the hurt?
...Sincerely, I reeeely feel your pain....

The Falklands are about the nastiest place on earth on which to live. That's why my great grandparents migrated from a farm there to Santa Cruz Province in 1885. Rather like going to Miami compared to sheep farming on a Falkland settlement.
Argentines won´t migrate to Patagonia, other than to the capital cities, Rio Gallegos, Comodoro, etc. Other than the brave few, they would never live on the Falklands.

You echo the opinion of my great friend, Walter Gasquet(porteño 100 por cent) QEPD, who always used to say “hacian falta los boliches” and “que los argentinos no aguantaban el frio.”

Ushuaia is much worse than the Falklands. Damp, dismal and uncultured.
