Vladimir Putin has urged Theresa May not to succumb to calls for a second referendum on Brexit. Speaking at his annual question and answer session with journalists, the Russian president questioned whether re-running a vote could be construed as democratic. Read full article

    Like Putin would know much about democracy...
    Also if Putin is not in favour of another referendum...it is likely a good idea to have one...

    Putin likes the idea of an EU without the UK. Without the UK, the EU is neutered.

    That's unfair, Voice. Putin knows lots about democracy - how to get around term limits, how much easier it is to win elections with the opposition in jail, and most importantly, how to control information so you look good. And thanks to his past in the KGB, he also knows very well how to persuade citizens of other countries to vote for weakening the main opposition (NATO & EU) to his plan of rebuilding the Russian Empire.
