The US has imposed sanctions on Venezuela's state-owned oil firm PDVSA and urged the country's military to accept a peaceful transfer of power. Disclaimer & comment rulesFinally the USA and the UK have taken the lead to remove Maduro's control of outside wealth which rightfully belongs to the Venezuelan people. The real problem of course is to convince the military to change sides.

The West should me more worried wrt the noose around THEIR necks than tightening the one around Venezuela:
