The Israeli Argentina Association (AMIA) has requested that the authorities of the Delegation of Israeli-Argentine Associations (DAIA) drop their accusation against Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in reference to the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran.
“We consider that to keep this complaint is damaging to the community at large and particularly to the specific role of AMIA,” noted DAIA president Jorge Knoblovits.
Thus another one of a handful of operations widely portrayed in the Argentina media and mounted to deteriorate the image of Fernandez de Kirchner ahead of the 2015 presidential election goes to the dogs.
It closely followed the former wife of prosecutor Alberto Nisman’s withdrawal as complainant in the judicial investigation of Nisman’s death.
