    PM Theresa May is safe from a leadership challenge, having just survived one, but could take the consistent rejection of her deal as her cue to resign.

    This week MPs in the UK voted against Prime Minister Theresa May’s proposed Brexit deal, but also voted against leaving the European Union without a deal of some sort. This means that May must apply for an extension to Article 50, which is the transition plan enacted by any member state that wants to withdraw from the EU.

    The vote means UK may not now leave on 29 March. Mrs. May says Brexit could be delayed by three months, to 30 June, if MPs back her deal in a vote next week.

    Falklands Brexit impact still uncertain as 29 March looms

     MLA Teslyn Barkman said that regardless of the outcome of Brexit, Falklands will need to negotiate a future relationship with the EU independently of the UK

    Cristina Fernandez flies to Cuba to be next to her sick daughter

    Ex-Argentine president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner left on Thursday for Cuba to assist her 29-year-old daughter Florencia, who is receiving medical treatment.
