The Confederation of British Industry has warned Conservative leadership candidates over a no-deal Brexit. Such a scenario would do “severe” damage to businesses, the body - which supported Remain - told all the MPs running to lead the party. Read full article

WRONG - Firms large and small are clear that the UK should NOT leave the EU at all, deal or no deal.

@RB Strange how the CBI can't read any history books. They might then learn that England, at least, managed for 1,036 YEARS without european interference. Except for fighting europeans off. From the Danes, through the Spanish, the Dutch, the French and ending with the Germans. Although, if one counts “conflicts” elsewhere in the world, one can add the Belgians and the Portuguese. And made it through quite successfully.

But then “business” would have to take “risks”, actually work for all that money it pays itself. Instead of just raking in undeserved money, groping around in people's pockets and treating workers as a slave workforce.

Don't forget to click your heels whilst kissing the ring and grovelling suitably for the thieving French.
