“What you want is a whole range of options so you can fall off one plane and within a couple of hours you are on the next plane to go who knows where”

London one way ticket perhaps? Good idea>

Marcos, the expression in English is “ dis-embark a plane ” not fall off a plane. The only falling off planes was when the military junta was governing Argentina and 20,000 or so were thrown into the River Plate.

Think- my views also- Latam are a hard nosed commercial multinational company - daft of them if the fare SCL- SP-MPN is cheaper than SCL-PUQ-MPN.
Especially as can operate an A320 to 176 full pax capacity. A767 on a 5hr plus flight from SP cannot operate above 180 passengers so max load is only 2/3rds capacity due to max passenger number handlable at MPN. - for at least 3 years before a new larger terminal built.

as the only other airline operating to the falks is the company contracted by the mod to provide the airbridge, the hon barry, by extremely competitive, must mean that, for sake of economy, the mod might choose to use the second commercial flight for routine purposes. if it is really that competitive i understand hmg treasury will insist and mod chiefs will agree in order to minimise the cost to the mod budget and thus achieve best value for the uk taxpayer.
