”As global leaders meet, the Amazon rainforest burns, the planet's largest rainforest remains engulfed in flames.
The number of active fires recorded in Brazil from the start of the year to Sep 19 was up 56 per cent over the same period in 2018. Nearly half of the blazes are in the Amazon.

This fire is not sufficient enough to warn the politicians for taking positive action.

There should be many more, frequent + catastrophically devastating fires to cause irreparable damage to finally wake the politicians up for taking drastic steps!

“Indigenous Leaders Reject Brazil Government’s Attempt to Deceive UN Using Showcase Indian
Chiefs from the Xingu Indigenous Territory and the Association of Xingu Indigenous People issued a letter rejecting what they consider to be the manipulatory inclusion in the Brazilian government delegation of an indigenous woman, who does not represent the Kalapalo people. There is a lot of fake news about the fires, which is the fault of Bolsonaro's government ... There is no such thing there.” According to her, the fires are part of the local culture for clearing land. “It is not because of a new government that everything is burning,” she said . . .

“She told The Truth” No she didn't as those who are the legal representatives stated.

You also failed to grasp the term “Don't take any wooden Indians.”

You mean, the fires are NOT a part of the local culture for clearing land? BUT that's what they have been actually doing for so many years! How can this be “Not-True”?

    @Terence Hill:

Your poetic explanation sounds a bit shallow and far from the truth which you believe in.

Besides, if this is possible, ANYTHING is possible:

Thank you for the attempted flattery. But even with your vast expertise in both facets, you couldn't be more wrong.
But, since you bear the burden of proof, if what claimed was true you'd have furnished it. So we are left with your less than stellar opinion. Which, like derrières every one's got one.

Do you mean that the live videos from satellite surveillance [NASA, etc] are or aren't FAKE?

    REF: “burden of proof”:

Maybe you have proofs pro/against your claims too?

“Maybe you have proofs” Not my onus since I'm the respondent not the asserter, it's your obligatory burden of proof. ”ei incumbit probatio, qui dicit, non qui negat (cum per rerum naturam factum negantis probation nulla sit)-the burden of proof lies upon him who affirms, not on him who denies, (since by the nature of things, he who denies a fact cannot produce any proof). The claimant is always bound to prove: the burden of proof lies on him. Upon the one alleging, not upon him denying, rests the duty of proving. Upon the plaintiff rests the proving or the burden of proof,”

Don't attempt to digress. The ball is entirely in your court meaning, you have meet your burden, or what you assert is false.
As thoughts can only be true or false according to: “Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy; States of Affairs; First published Tue Mar 27, 2012
Philosophers connect sentences with various items, such as thoughts, facts and states of affairs. Thoughts are either true or false in an absolute sense, never both or neither.”
