    Mauricio Macri and his acolytes lied to get into government. None of the promises he made during campaign was fulfilled.

    Now, on his way out, Macri has reneged of the only principle he had sustained during all his time in government: No restrictions to buying or selling dollars.

    That's it. In the dying days of his presidency, Macri had to use the same hated device he railed against during the CFK government -- the “cepo” on the dollar. He really had to do it in order to reach Dec. 10 without a major financial shake up.

    Which could be called poetic justice.
