Activists expressed outrage on Sunday at the killing of an indigenous “guardian of the forest” in Brazil's Amazon and called on the government to thwart illegal loggers in the region. Disclaimer & comment rulesIf it was farmers being shot in the back for defending their land from thieves the authorities wouldn't sit there and do nothing. In Brazil the law only protects the rich, everyone else is left to fend for themselves.
