One Ocean Expeditions, the beleaguered arctic operator that has been cancelling itineraries as it goes through a “difficult period of restructuring,” has canceled a fourth voyage, according to travel agency Swoop Antarctica.

The newly cancelled voyage, an 11-day Falkland Islands itinerary that was scheduled to leave on Dec. 1, was supposed to accommodate 146 guests.

Swoop, which has already stopped selling all of One Ocean’s itineraries, said in a release that One Ocean was still in restructuring talks after the withdrawal of two of its ships by the ships’ Russian owners earlier this year and was hoping to finalize talks with a possible investor to save future voyages.

“Our priority is to look after our existing customers, as well as other concerned travelers who were booked onto One Ocean Expeditions’ cruises in 2019 and 2020/21, and assist them with alternative cruise itineraries in the region,” Alex Mudd, Swoop’s Commercial Director, said in a statement.

Really is about time One Ocean bit the bullet- faced reality- and declared Bankruptcy and went into receivership.
They owe large sums in many ports and several countries and their reputation sadly destroyed. That ship is not going to move from BA until a lot of businesses in Argentina receive what they are owed - and any other port it goes to in several parts of the world it or One Ocean probably has debts so it could be seized again.

a sad end to a long established Company - but it happens.
