The president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, established through a Decree of Necessity and Urgency the double compensation to workers for a period of 180 days in case of “dismissals without just cause” and “given the need to stop the worsening of the labor crisis “ The business sector receives it as ”bad news.” Read full article

    This kind of action will lead to an immediate hiring freeze by Argentina employers and therefore achieve the opposite result desired by the new Administration.

    Welcome to the real world's economy 101. Argentine president Alberto Fernandez is acting fast and making good on his promise of helping the most vulnerable. Just to help the apoplectic comments of MP keyboard warriors, let them also learn that other upcoming decisions will be increasing pensions, Assignation Universal per Child, as well as wages of public employees and private ones.

    These measures, however, could not by themselves make a difference, therefore they will rapidly be followed by other decisions, all aiming to kick start the economy.

    And we are only day fourth of Alberto's presidency!
