The Catholic Church in Argentina has called an anti-abortion rally to coincide with International Women's Day, after centre-left President Alberto Fernandez spoke in favor of decriminalization of the issue. Read full article
Time for Argentina to join other advanced countries in solving this public health issue once for all.
Legalization won't push anyone to practice abortion. Women who want to do it, on the other hand, will be able to legally and safely access professional help. Legalization must of course go together with education, access to contraception and other measures to reduce the number of situations in which abortion is required, as much as possible.
Chicureo, what would you call a god that ensures 1 in 3 pregnancies end in miscarriage and causes babies to be born with painful and deadly birth defects?
My problem with this issue is with hypocrites as Enrique and his ideology was government for 12 years and only when they needed votes they talk about it.
How many women died in the 12 years that were governed by a topic they now say public health?
How is the law in uk on this subject?
It has already been said, but it won't hurt to say it once more:
Legalizing divorce does not force anyone to end a marriage.
Legalizing medically assisted death does not cause widespread euthanasia.
Legalizing cannabis use does not force anyone to smoke it.
In the same way, making abortion safe, legal and free of charge does not force any woman to end a pregnancy. It just reduces back alley coat-hanger procedures.

It takes a souless progressive to advocate the abortion of a healty unborn child. It is immoral, unethical and cannot be justified.

Chicureo
There are cases that should be allowed and in theory they are allowed in Argentina and are not met
Pipino
You know a pope who did not visit his country again. That gives you the idea of what most Argentines think about him.

Why do you talk about God on this subject?
Of course you're British, if you don't like it, you change it

Feb 12th, 2020 - 12:02 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Chicureo believes in god, that's why I said that. Also we are having a baby soon, so I worry about the many things that can go wrong.
In general I agree with Enrique, and abortion is already legal in the UK.

I take you support the legalization of abortion, only you wanted it done earlier. Well. Don't you think it's better if done now rather than never?

Thanks Guillote. But what did you expect Enrique to do for the last 12 years? It's not like he was president or had any power.
