lame excuse for delay. remote working is key and has been forced upon us so take advantage of the technology opportunities the new exclusive telecoms licence with Sure has provided. take a leaf from the book of Boris and get the port done. not Let It Be but, speaking words of wisdom, Get It Done!

Note that the article does not say who is paying for the new harbour - in fact the poor old British taxpayer once again funding colonial outposts. Why don't you Falklanders stand on your own feet for once? Why should we have to bail you 30,000 people out time and again?

Pyt- where did you dream that up from? UK taxpayers nor UK Govt will neither be paying a penny towards it. In fact UK will GAIN from it as £millions of materials and equipment and workforce will come from UK to build it- all paid for by the Falklands.

And what concern of yours is it if we are paying for it?

Or for that matter how self-sufficient, or not, British overseas territories are?

Investments in the S. Atlantic are well worthwhile given the resources there and in our Antarctic Territory.

Not to mention the need to defend our territory there against the hostile expansionist new neighbours in S. America.

30,000 people – Yeees, you’re obviously not very well informed about these matters, are you!

Well yes our territory, you know this by the fact that we control who goes there.

Also what happens in that region.

Argentina is a mere distant observer to events in the S. Atlantic, with no history or current involvement there. A situation which is not going to change.

Look what happened when you tried to exercise control, remember, you got your arses kicked, big time.

    Bahahahahahahah!!!!!!

    WHOOOOOOSH!!!!!! BANG!!!!!!!GLUGGLUGGLUG!!!!!!!

So long as you Indian murdering, thieving Planters stay in Creole occupied S. America, you’re relatively safe from us.

Venture into British waters of the S. Atlantic, the Pirates will get you for sure.

    Remember El Drake.
