Of course Labour supports Britishers' right to be British, supports the Falkland Islands and supports self-determination as stated in the Charter of the United Nations.
To us DA it is worth mentioning, because the previous leader was of doubtful principles on the matter. Labour Party policy has always been strong on the issue though. It is after all based on a fundamental UN principle.
This is indeed a meaningful change, and places any hopes that Argentina might be able to grab the islands several more light years from its filthy imperialist grasp.
As the years go by and the islands enjoy greater security and development, Argentina's silly little hysterical soap-box tertulias for the matter become increasingly laughable. Proof that tercermundista Argentina is further than ever from being considered a serious or modern country.
the fact of being pending of this news of the British political parties, implies, that they do not know if they are always going to think the same. and as it would be if one day they say no
hay que pensar en el futuro
That is possible, more likely though that at least some political parties in Argentina, will start to take a more enlightened, modern view of the issue.

colony, noun: a country or area controlled politically by a more powerful country that is often far away:
They are self-governing and therefore not a colony, oh I know it’s the Pelotudo thing for Argy Malvinistas to say and they probably think it sounds clever, however it is simply not true.
Colonies are NOT self-governing and never have been, if a place is self-governing it cannot be called a colony, it is a contradiction it terms when speaking English.
In English it makes you sound stupid, as if you don’t know the difference.
I wonder when Argentina is going to remove its implanted population in Tierra del Fuego and abandon its colony there, and return the area to the indigenous people.
