Argentine farmer association CRA has expressed its concern over a recent wave of vandalism on silo bags that store grain and oilseeds on-farm. Read full article
What did I say? That it was only a matter of time before La Campora punks would be sent out to vandalize farmer's silobolsas! Peronist Kriminals are soooo predictable! :)
So the farmers either do what the Gov wants and probably go bankrupt, or don’t do it and people wreck the crop and you certainly go bankrupt.
Just seems a bit short term thinking, it may work for a few years, then nobody will have anything. The farmers will be bankrupt or doing/growing other things.
Actually beggars belief, talk about desperation.
What happened to Enrique’s economic miracle then?
Sooner rather than later, they are going to run out of other people’s money to rob.

You can say that again.....
Reekie might abhor such behavior, but he'll deny the vandals have anything to do with Cristina.....I mean, how could they ?
The more I learn about Argentine politics, the less I seem to understand.
It seem you can’t fix the country until you fix corruption, you won’t fix corruption until you fix the country.
However, if this “Bolivarian/Peronista” ideology can waste/lose the income of a country like Venezuela, when oil/gas prices are relatively high, Argentina shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Corruption and incompetence in Argentina have led to an almost insurmountable problem...
CFK's triumphant return will simply compound it, as reported last night by TV Globo's resident journalist in Buenos Aires....When CFK stepped down end 2015, 25% of the population were below the poverty level....at the end of Macri's administration, that percentage had risen to 30%....it is already reaching 40% and Argy economists are predicting 50% by end 2020...
