Bloomberg’s Misery Index, which tallies inflation and unemployment outlooks for 60 economies shows that almost all of the economies surveyed are projected to be more miserable this year amid Covid-19, with analysts expecting increased joblessness and tepid growth. Read full article

    Oh dear, Venezuela and Argentina, but how can this be in Bolivarian utopias.

    And where is Enrique to explain all this, or we might end up with the wrong impression and think thing are actually “bad”, in those countries.

    Good question, where's our resident expert on Venezuela & Argentina's economic affairs ?

    Six months into the previous administration he was already ripping into Macri, criticizing his policies, which he claimed were ruining Argentina...as if Macri had been handed a thriving, booming economy.

    Funny thing is that relatively speaking, Macri's 4 years were far less disastrous than Nestor's 4 and Cristina's 8.

    But don't lose hope, doormat Alberto has still got 3 and a bit years to fix the mess the Kirchner's made in the previous 12.
