The Government of Argentina has formally conveyed to the United Kingdom a proposal to manufacture the entire production of the Oxford-AstraZeneca anti-covid-19 vaccine locally and also made a formal complaint about the failure to deliver the 22.5 million doses of which 60% has already been paid for. Perhaps the EU could help, they don’t seem to be using much AZ, they just keep stockpiling evermore of it.
Any agreement/technology transfer to ‘fill and finish’ vaccine in Argentina, would be a commercial matter for the Argy Gov (would almost certainly have to put up money) an Argy manufacturer and AZ.
Just start a rumour that the AZ jab has the side effect of rendering MalviNazis sterile, which should reduce the demand for it in Argentina.
