The Government of Argentina has formally conveyed to the United Kingdom a proposal to manufacture the entire production of the Oxford-AstraZeneca anti-covid-19 vaccine locally and also made a formal complaint about the failure to deliver the 22.5 million doses of which 60% has already been paid for. Not sure exactly what they are asking the UK Gov to do here.

No doses are going to be exported from the UK in the foreseeable future.

Perhaps the EU could help, they don’t seem to be using much AZ, they just keep stockpiling evermore of it.

Any agreement/technology transfer to ‘fill and finish’ vaccine in Argentina, would be a commercial matter for the Argy Gov (would almost certainly have to put up money) an Argy manufacturer and AZ.

Just start a rumour that the AZ jab has the side effect of rendering MalviNazis sterile, which should reduce the demand for it in Argentina.
