    I have a middle class income in the US, but it now goes a long way here in Brazil (excepting the gasoline cost). It is distressing to witness, however, how our friends and neighbors are struggling to make ends meet, especially the subsistence farmers and fishermen at the bottom of the economic spectrum. Inflation is a great theft imposed on everyone, but the least able are hit the hardest.
