Why is he paying such tribute to the Chinese Communist Party? The CCP under its then leader Mao Zedong is probably the organization with most deaths in its own country on its conscience during the 20th century. More the both the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the National Socialist Party of Germany. The politics of the CCP caused millions of deaths of starvation and also of outright killings of political opponents.

Argentina under Juan Perón welcomed lots of Nazi war criminals inte the country after WWII. And now his follower, Fernández, is paying hommage to another totalitarian regime.

Can this has something to do with the fact that both Argentina and China claim islands off their respective coast (The Falklands and Taiwan, respectively)? “If we support you over Taiwan, you will support us over the Malvinas”?

Global South countries are starting to see there is an alternative to the US dominated “rules based system”. No more resting under the feet of the “west”. No more stepping on egg shells in order not to upset the US, and face a CIA right wing coup or sanctions. Good on them.
